Rajiv Asati is a seasoned technology executive with global strategic and deep industry knowledge focusing on digitization & transformation. As a designated CTO for Customer Experience (CX) Americas organization, he is responsible for chartering Cisco CX’s technology strategy for Cloud/Service Providers/Enterprises and for increasing the adoption of Cisco’s offers (encompassing Intent Driven Networking, Automation & Orchestration, Packet Optical Integration, Security, Virtualization, Telco Cloud, Edge Computing, Cable, Open vRAN, 5G, Hybrid Cloud etc). He drives a significant focus on cross-Architecture opportunities and collaborates with regional Architecture teams, Engineering leaders/BEs and Partners, while keeping the sharp focus on Customers’ outcomes.

He is a passionate innovator with 110+ patents (issued/pending/published) and an avid industry contributor with 15+ IETF RFCs and 1 CableLabs spec. Also CCIE Certified. He is a frequent speaker at numerous industry recognized conferences and seminars e.g. MPLS/NFV World Congress, NCTA/SCTE, APRICOT, CiscoLive/Networkers, GSX, SEVTs, EBCs etc.

He has served on advisory board of one of IoT/Analytics companies, published numerous industry articles and contributed to open-source community. Rajiv is a subject matter expert, key go-to technical resource, and well respected thought leader across many key technologies, while holding several leadership roles. Previously, Rajiv provided the CTO function for Cloud and Networking Services business within Advanced Services. Before joining Cisco, he contributed to the development and deployment of Advanced Intelligent Network (AIN) solutions at AT&T Labs and with Nortel Networks developing SS7 and ISDN protocols stack.
